    That picture of the cat is funny as hell. To answer your question, yes, I believe pets make us happier.

    I'm going to be idealistic and think it wasn't photoshopped at all.

    I think pets make us happier, too. My pets have always made me
    happier! Unconditional love and companionship? Yes, I can definitely
    live with that.
