I suspect the article has been removed from this newspaper's website. I've noticed that some other newspapers will remove articles from their websites after a certain period of time has passed since they were published. I'm not sure why they do this.
I suppose one way I could verify the story would be by producing evidence that I exchanged emails with Kirk Forslund, who is mentioned in that article. I also interviewed him over the phone.
It would be nice if you could depend on web links always being active, but sometimes they change. I hope this information helps you though.
